Another Loss for the Community

It with regret that we annouce that community member Starfyre and her sister Tara passed away yesterday and this morning after being involved in a hit and run accident.

8:45 a.m.
This morning Kirsten and Tara left to goto the store. About an hour later a police officer came knocking at the door and told me that they had been in a hit and run accident. When I got to the hospital the doctors told me it was pretty bad and that their chances for recovery were iffy at best. Right now both of them are in a coma. I ask everyone to pray for them.

2:17 p.m.
I have some bad news. Tara passed an hour ago. I just came home to check on the twins and thought I would pass on the news while I’m here.

The doctor’s say even when someone is in a coma they might be able to hear you. I will be sure to tell Kirsten that your all thinking of her and waiting for her to return soon.

6:52 p.m.
A few months ago Kirsten swore me that should anything ever happen to her that I would do a few things for her. And I promised I would. The first is this forum and its accompaning website. As is her wishes they will stay for as long as I can afford them to stay. Also when Uru Live opens this Christmas season I am to make appearances in the game. She loves you all so much that she went to great pains to make sure I would do all that should something happen to her.

4:45 a.m.
It is with my deepest regret that I come here to inform you all that around 2am that Kirsten was rushed into emergency surgery. They did all they could but it was just not meant to be and at 2:45am Kirsten passed on.

International Support for Uru Live

Hi all,

It’s really important now, for folks who can sign up for GameTap to do so, via the ultra cool link GreyDragon set up at http://urulive.cyanworlds.com/blog/. We really need to show GameTap that we’re willing to support the return of Uru Live (even though it’s not public yet).

Plus it’s over 600 games to while away the hours until you get into Beta! Very Happy

I’ve created a petition for the International members of the community, to voice their support and intention to sign up for Uru Live when it is available.

Welcome to version 19 of The D’ni Jazz Club.

The site is now back open to visitors, please be aware some sections are down or missing and there may be some bugs in places.

If you spot anything looking like its broken please feel free to use the Contact Page to let us know.

Some of your old links or bookmarks may be incorrect now so you will need to update them. Some urls will no longer be valid inorder to tidy up the backend of the site as well as optimise for searches on the site.

We are also aware that the News page is incomplete (ie the news jumps from 2006 to a date in 2005) that is because we are in the process of moving all the news posts over.
